I think the 4th season of Digimon's digivices also had a Scannerz premise, but I never actually played with that digivice like I hade the 2nd and 3rd seasons. You probably scanned barcodes to fight wild Digimon or find items or something.

They have made scarlet and violet a lot better, a decent amount less lag. The dlc is very good. The main gane has one good third and 2 underwhelming parts, and the end is so food. It's one of the best endings in Pokemon. It might not be as good since you have already been spoiled a bit due to you two opening up cards.
